3- Pick up the item at our store on your chosen start date

Need some advice and would rather talk to someone in person prior to hire? Not a problem! We know that configuring the right setup for you and your family can sometimes be a tricky task at first. We are here to help you through this process!
I AM NEW TO CYCLING BUT REALLY WANT TO MAKE THE LEAP FOR MY FAMILY. HOW CAN I DO THIS?
This is the reason we exist! Accessibility to cycling on all fronts! We want to act as your personal stepping stone on this journey. We will listen, guide and assist you to ensure that, together, we assemble the right setup for you and your family. We will then do more. From introducing you to a local buddy who can show you best local routes. To providing Bikeability courses and specialist cargo proficiency courses should you need them. To our inductions & fitting service to elevate confidence levels. To group rides to get you started, building your confidence and bike-fitness, all in a social setting. To safety accessories. To local route advice.

Our whole raison d'etre is to provide the crucial first stepping stone for anyone trying to make their local journeys more active ones. We will leave no (stepping!) stone unturned (pun-intended!) to ensure we are always excelling in this mission.

WHAT IS YOUR POLICY FOR DAMAGED EQUIPMENT?
All hired products will be covered for ordinary incidents under our insurance. We know that best intentions aren't always enough and that issues can sometimes arise. So long as reasonable care has been taken, we will do our utmost to ensure it is never our members who suffer at the culmination of any hire.
I DON'T NEED ANY EQUIPMENT RIGHT NOW, BUT I'D STILL LIKE TO SUPPORT THE CLUB. HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED?
We know we need to reach a critical mass of members to achieve our cycling activity goals. Our movement is entirely dependent on our members involvement. To this end we include everyone.

Our Pedestrian Membership is designed exactly for this reason. No equipment hire, just all the other (many many!) benefits of membership included, for only £5 a month.
​
There are also many ways of supporting without signing up for membership. We welcome anyone with an interest in cycling to help us staff the hub; deliver our programme of local cycling buddies or led rides and much more.

DO YOU DO ANYTHING BEYOND FAMILY CYCLING?
It's true we DO have a huge passion for all things pedals and anything on two wheels, we admit this! We believe bicycles can be a hugely powerful medium through which multiple benefits can be conferred to their family users, especially the younger ones- health; cleaner air; connection to, and discovery of, the local environment; and probably most importantly many shared smiles!

However we are also mindful that SOMETIMES everyone needs a break from cycling chat. This is one of the reasons we created the arts-element to our offering. We wanted to play however small a role in helping to facilitate the creative capacities of young local residents, and to offer anything in our possession, like our hub, as their canvas.

No children? No problem! We offer a variety of cargo and trailer options to help you carry a variety of cargo via pedal power! Whether this be a local DIY store trip or transporting your precious pooch, we can provide the right setup for you. We also now host a selection of adult tandem bikes; including both traditional and semi-recumbent forms! So if you want to double (or triple!) the fun of cycling with a collaborative and social dynamic, enquire instore today!
